Formulation of electrode paste product formula

When formulating a formula, the type of raw materials should be reasonably selected based on the purpose and specifications of the product, and the optimal ratio and particle size ratio should be formulated to achieve the optimal organizational structure of the product. Suitable binders and their ratios should also be selected based on the type of raw materials, particle size ratio, and surface properties of the powder particles, in order to achieve the best bonding performance between the powder particles of the product.

The production formula of electrode paste products mainly refers to the combination of dry materials, which is an important component of electrode paste formula. The choice of raw materials as fine powder has a direct impact on the quality of electrode paste. The large, medium, and small particles in the aggregate should be reasonably matched to increase the packing density and control the particle size composition. The purpose is to obtain a dense, high-strength, and conductive self baking electrode after calcination. The amount of powder added should match the amount of binder added, so that the plasticity of the electrode paste is within a specified range. It can blend and fill the entire electrode cylinder tightly without causing layering due to its easy flow. If the amount of binder used is too high, the sintering speed of the electrode paste cannot keep up with the consumption speed, which is prone to soft fracture, difficult sintering, and easy to produce solid particles and binder layering phenomenon. If the amount of drilling agent is too low and the electrode paste is sintered too quickly, there will be overburning phenomenon, resulting in poor bonding force between particles, poor density, high porosity, low strength, easy oxidation, high consumption, and easy occurrence of electrode hard fracture accidents.
