Suppression:
Put the mixed raw materials into the mold for pressing to obtain the desired shape and size of the electrode semi-finished product.
Baking:
Bake the pressed electrode semi-finished product to remove moisture and volatile matter, and improve the strength and stability of the electrode.
Graphitization:
After calcination, the electrode undergoes high-temperature graphitization treatment, which rearranges the carbon atoms in the electrode, forming a highly ordered graphite structure, thereby improving the conductivity and thermal stability of the electrode.
Machining:
The graphite electrodes are machined to meet the final size and shape requirements.
Immersion:
In order to improve the density and conductivity of electrodes, it is usually necessary to impregnate them with tar or asphalt.
Re calcination and graphitization:
The impregnated electrode needs to be further roasted and graphitized to solidify the impregnated material and further improve the overall performance of the electrode.
Quality inspection:
The final electrode needs to undergo strict quality testing, including dimensional accuracy, density, electrical resistivity, bending strength, and other indicators.
